Some may remember that the Kroll Detective Agency produced a report for Bernard Spitzer, the Governor's father that said an anonymous phone call was made to Spitzer's office from a "phone most likely under the control of Roger Stone." Lo and behold the private investigator, Ronald Goldstock, who produced this questionable report, has been rewarded with an appointment to a high-level part-time position of Waterfront Commissioner of New York Harbor which pays a cushy $43,500 a year. Sure sounds like a payoff to me.
