By Roger Stone Pee Wee Herman, ne' Paul Ruebens is back on Broadway with a hit show after a career eclipse that began with a morals charge in a Florida movie theatre. Pee Wee, a comic in the the child-like style of Pinky Lee, made adults and children laugh with a benign brand of humor that was silly and without victims on his hit TV show, Pee Wee's Playhouse. In the comic tradition of Soupy Sales without the Borscht belt influences, Pee Wee went on to success in a full length movie Pee Wee's Great Adventure before the career crash. He's back, proving once again the American people's capacity for forgiveness and any man's capacity for redemption. Welcome back Pee Wee.
