Donald Trump may not have decided to run for President but Republicans can learn much from his brief but serious flirtation with running. Trump rose in the polls because he was not afraid to take Obama on frontally. Trump's hammering of Obama on China, gas prices, unemployment and an incoherent foreign policy vaulted Trump to the top of the polls. The McCain strategy of praising Obama as a great senator and a fine American proved a loser. The 2012 Republican will need to take the President and his abysmal record on to win.
