There is perhaps no American who is more responsible for shifting the Republican Party away from the neocon orthodoxy of endless war and big government than former Texas Congressman Ron Paul.
With nothing more than the Constitution as his guide, he sparked a revolutionary movement that changed the DNA of the Republican Party, paving the way for President Trump’s historic victory in 2016 — with much of what he championed being cornerstones of Trump’s agenda.
He is living proof one godly man can change the world for good, which is why I started this petition to urge President Trump to affirm Ron Paul’s status as an American hero by awarding him the Presidential Medal of Freedom — and I hope you will sign it below.

WHEREAS: The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian honor the President can bestow upon a citizen of the United States of America; and
WHEREAS: Your predecessor disgraced this prestigious honor by awarding it to deep state scoundrels like George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and John Kerry; and
WHEREAS: This honor should be reserved for those who have made the country better, not worse; and
WHEREAS: There is perhaps been no bigger champion for the ideas of freedom, which our great country was founded on, than former Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX);
WHEREAS: Ron Paul has fought for freedom and liberty, and against neoconservative and globalist orthodoxy for decades, in many ways paving the way for the MAGA movement that you led to victory that saved America;
THEREFORE: I urge you to award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to former Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) in order to honor his lifelong commitment to the cause of liberty and freedom.
