On Sunday 2/4/2024 the long-awaited legislation regarding border security was released. The bill comes with an eye-popping price tag of 118 billion dollars. What is perhaps more astonishing is that the bill only allocates 20 billion of its total value to the US border. Nearly 51% or 60 billion dollars of the bipartisan bill is allocated to fund Ukranian war efforts. In addition to funding the border and Ukraine, the bill also allocates $14.1 billion in security assistance for Israel, $2.44 billion to U.S. Central Command and the conflict in the Red Sea, and $4.83 billion to support U.S. partners in the Indo-Pacific facing aggression from China, according to figures from Senator Patty Murray, who chairs the Senate’s Appropriation Committee.
GOP senate leader Mitch McConnell tapped little known Oklahoma senator James Lankford to negotiate the disastrous bill. During an interview with Dan Bongino on Monday, Donald Trump was very critical of Senator Lankford. Trump went as far as to not rule out backing a primary challenger to Lankford in the next election cycle.
Should Lankford face a significant primary challenge, it will most likely come from 2022 challenger Jackson Lahmeyer. Lahmeyer, who founded Pastors for Trump, has been vocal in his defense of America First policy. Having personally known Jackson for a few years, I reached out directly for comment on Lankford and his future.
The following comment was provided by Jackson:
In addition to funding foreign nations, the Senate border bill provides amnesty to millions of immigrants. So far this bill has been met with substantial pushback from house Republicans. Speaker of the house Mike Johnson went as far as to declare it DOA when it arrives to the house.
“Let me be clear: The Senate Border Bill will NOT receive a vote in the House,” House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Here’s what the people pushing this ‘deal; aren’t telling you: It accepts 5,000 illegal immigrants a day and gives automatic work permits to asylum recipients—a magnet for more illegal immigration.”
Roger Stone believes that something more sinister might be at play with Lankford. Per his social media post, Stone believes that Lankford may be compromised.
While the hashtag Falls Creek might be confusing, U.S. Senator James Lankford spent more than a decade as the director of youth programming at the Falls Creek Baptist Conference Center, a sprawling campground about 80 miles south of Oklahoma City that attracts more than 50,000 campers in grades six through 12 each year.
During Lankford’s tenure the family of a 13-year-old girl sued the family of a 15 year old boy over an alleged sexual encounter at the camp. Lankford is not alleged to have any direct knowledge of the attack and was not a defendant in the lawsuit, however during a 2010 deposition Lankford boldly stated that he believed a 13-year-old absolutely could consent to sex.
It is impossible to know if Lankford was compromised at the camp, but it is obvious by his words and actions that he is America last while Lahmeyer is boldly America First. In my opinion Jackson Lahmeyer was one of the best candidates in any race in America in 2022. Removing a sitting senator and replacing him with a true America First patriot will be a crucial step going forward. I am personally thrilled that Jackson Lahmeyer has decided to continue his quest to represent the people of Oklahoma.
Removing James Lankford from office should be on the radar of every patriot in America.
