THE REAL REASON DEMS ARE AGAINST THE WALL
(By Saint John Hunt) Many key democrats voted for a 700 mile wall (fence) along the Mexican border in 2006. Main stream media is not reporting the complete story by key democrats since they went on record as supporting the Secure Fence Act in 2006. Now these same democrats have vowed to fight Trump’s promise to fund the wall. Am I surprised? No. After over a year of reporting fake news regarding President Trump while ignoring the facts and after the same media’s relentless campaign to smear Trump, it doesn’t surprise me that in addition to attempting to destroy our president, they (media) will overlook any newsworthy items which reflect poorly on the Dems.
Some of the current Democratic senators to have supported the wall, even voted for the Secure Fence Act in 2006 are: Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del., and Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich. For those that don’t remember, the Secure Fence Act was passed by a Republican congress under George W. Bush authorizing a fence (wall) along 700 miles of border. The Act also authorized the use of more vehicle barriers, checkpoints and advanced technology including drones. A total of 23 Democrats voted for the bill in 2006.
It’s not that they now oppose the wall; they are intent on stopping a Republican bill to fund its construction. Feinstein said in 2006: “Democrats are solidly behind controlling the border, and we support the border fence.” Schumer said in November: “We’re not going to help him (Trump) build his wall.” Barack Obama voted for the Secure Fence Act in 2006, he praised it. Shortly after Donald Trump became the GOP nominee, Obama did an about face and repeatedly derided Trump’s proposal to build a wall. Then Senator Hillary Clinton also supported the wall in 2006 but during her presidential candidacy she rebuked the wall as “fantasy.” Clinton adds that “We have done what by any fair estimate would have to conclude is a good job ‘securing the border,’ so let’s get about the business of comprehensive immigration reform.”
What could be the reason for the change from supporting the wall to actively fighting against it? It just might have something to do with votes and voter fraud. You see illegal aliens have been voting for years. A 2014 study in the Electoral Studies Journal show that illegals may have cast as many as 2.8 million votes in 2008 and 2010. A post election survey conducted by Americas Majority Foundation found that 2.1% of noncitizens voted in the Nov. 8 election. In the battleground states of Michigan and Ohio, 2.5% and 2.1%, respectively, of noncitizens reported voting.”
The IRS has issued 11 million individual taxpayer identification numbers, most to illegal immigrants, so they can file taxes! In fact twelve states and the District of Columbia allow driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants and almost half of California’s driver’s licenses went to illegals last year. Most of these votes went for the Democratic candidate. The Dems don’t want to support the wall because they know it will look bad in the eyes of non-citizen voters. They know what’s going on.
Last October WikiLeaks revealed an email sent by Clinton campaign manager John Podesta on February 3, 2015 in which he clearly understands the importance of illegal voters to the party. “On the picture ID, the one thing I have thought of in that space is that if you show up on Election Day with a driver’s license with a picture, attest that you are a citizen, you have a right to vote in Federal elections.” Podesta is clearly saying that if someone shows up to the voting poll with a picture driver’s license and says they are a citizen, then they can vote!
Why hasn’t this been reported in the main stream media? Why hasn’t our government done something about it? This type of fraud benefits the Democrats and they have dominated the White House for the past eight years. A Rasmussen Reports poll earlier this year found that 53% of the Democratic Party supports letting illegals vote, even though it’s against the law.
Justice Department attorney Christian Adams testified under oath that he attended a November 2009 meeting at which then-deputy assistant attorney general Julie Fernandes told DOJ prosecutors that administration would not be enforcing the federal law that requires local officials to purge illegitimate names from their voter rolls.
Last week Trump announced he has shelved his push for funding the wall until this fall. “I promise to rebuild our military and secure our border. Democrats want to shut down the government. Politics!” Trump wrote.
The good fight continues and every once in a while, truth may show itself, but don’t count on mainstream media to report it.
