President Donald Trump’s war against the abortion industry is yielding positive results, as Planned Parenthood clinics are being shuttered nationwide.
It was announced that eight Planned Parenthood clinics will be permanently closing their doors across their Northern Central States region with a third of their staff in the region being laid off.
Planned Parenthood made the decision after the Trump administration decided to freeze $2.8 million in federal aid given to the abortion provider. It turns out that the market demand for abortions has been propped up by federal subsidy all along.
Additionally, the Trump administration is looking into cutting off Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood through provisions in the Big Beautiful Bill Act. With approximately 30 percent of Planned Parenthood’s clients using Medicaid, this would be another massive blow to the abortion giant. Liberal death merchants are understandably freaking out as a result of this news.
“We have been fighting to hold together an unsustainable infrastructure as the landscape shifts around us and an onslaught of attacks continues,” said Ruth Richardson, who serves as president for Planned Parenthood’s northern states region.
“Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans’ claims that they will not ban abortion nationwide were always a lie. Overnight, the receipts came in,” said Reps. Diana DeGette (D-CO) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), co-chairs of the Congressional Reproductive Freedom Caucus. “We will continue to call out this attack on the people for exactly what it is: a Big Bogus Backdoor abortion ban.”
Little by little, the Trump administration is building upon the revocation of Roe v. Wade, an unparalleled judicial abomination that plagued America for decades,during his first term – a crowning achievement that was made possible due to Trump’s wise SCOTUS picks. Trump’s attacks on Planned Parenthood cement the fact that Trump is the most pro-life President in history.
It is worth remembering the pro-life activists who rallied against President Trump throughout his 2024 presidential campaign, arguing that Trump’s rhetoric was not strong enough against abortion on the campaign trail and completely missing the forest for the trees in their myopic and foolhardy crusade.
Lobbyist Lila Rose, founder of the Pro-Life Inc. group Live Action, actually had the audacity to call Trump/Vance a “pro-abortion ticket” during a crucial period in the 2024 election cycle as she told pro-life activists to abstain from giving them their support.
“A Trump win is not a pro-life win right now,” Rose said. “Pro-lifers will need to challenge both leaders either way. We only help Trump by sounding the alarm — Trump is losing pro-life votes regardless of what I say — because of his own actions.”
Rose represents the worst of Pro-Life Inc., a subversive special interest grift that uses flowery rhetoric to bilk naive social conservatives while not getting much done to actually protect babies from the Democrats who want to murder them in the womb with a religious fervor.
Rose was castigated as a grifter on X by citizen journalists who discovered that Live Action was spending millions on garish dinners and salaries while giving very little to actual pro-life advocacy. She would ultimately endorse Trump for president in a desperate attempt to save face only after it was abundantly clear Trump would crush Harris nationally.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, CEO of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, castigated Trump for advocating a constitutional states’ rights approach to abortion on the campaign trail rather than taking an abolitionist stance that would have radicalized the Democrat base and put the 2024 electoral results in jeopardy.
“If this movement cedes the territory to the states only and says that your geography is predictive of whether you live or die in our country, then this movement is headed for the ash heap of history, in my opinion,” Dannenfelser said.
One of President Trump’s first actions after being elected was to pardon 23 pro-life activists thrown in prison for exercising their 1st Amendment rights outside of abortion clinics. If Pro-Life Inc. had their way, these individuals would have remained behind bars as they cared more about their self-serving fundraising efforts than advancing the cause.
“23 people were prosecuted. They should not have been prosecuted. Many of them are elderly people. They should not have been prosecuted. This is a great honor to sign this,” President Trump said during a ceremony signing the pardon.
One of my rules, and perhaps the most important one that conservatives political activists must realize, is: “Losers don’t legislate.” Losers do not issue executive orders or sign pardons, either. Pro-Life Inc. would be content to make the Republicans a permanent minority party and make the issue of abortion a lucrative political football to protect the industry they have crafted around a carefully-crafted illusion of battling the Democrats that actually only serves to preach to the choir.
The pro-life activists who care more about their prestigious sinecures and placating their followings than actually protecting babies in the womb deserve eternal derision. President Trump through his effectiveness has rendered them obsolete. He has taken the fight to Planned Parenthood more effectively than Pro-Life Inc. ever could. Well-intentioned pro-life donors should take note and start to disperse their contributions elsewhere.
