“It is not the end, not even the beginning of the end, but perhaps the end of the beginning.” Winston Churchill’s words echo through the corridors of justice as James Brien Comey Jr., the former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, now stands indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia. Appointed by Barack Hussein Obama in 2013 and ultimately fired by President Donald Trump in 2017, Comey served as the nation’s top law enforcement official after holding senior roles in the United States Attorney’s Office and as Deputy Attorney General. A federal grand jury has charged him with making a materially false statement to Congress and obstructing a congressional proceeding stemming from his 2020 Senate testimony. Within hours of the indictment, Comey posted a defiant Instagram video proclaiming his innocence with his typical sanctimoniously smug and virtuous tone, pledging to take his case to trial, and daring prosecutors to prove their case.
This indictment is more than a set of charges. It is the master key to every encrypted whisper, every hidden email, and every conspiratorial message that flowed from Comey’s devices. The Department of Justice is filled with Comey loyalists, and the FBI cannot be trusted to investigate itself. That is why the probe must be transferred to the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). CISA is the digital sentinel of the Republic with the power to subpoena, decrypt, and analyze all of Comey’s communications free from the grip of his former bureaucratic allies. Only under CISA’s authority can an uncorrupted investigation begin.
I know the brutality of Comey’s regime firsthand. In the predawn darkness an absurdly excessive phalanx of armed federal agents descended upon my home in a diabolical spectacle surpassing the force used in the raid that eliminated Usama bin Laden – more men were sent to my door than were deployed in the Bin Laden raid! The Department of Justice’s prearranged masquerade complete with CNN cameras was not about justice. It was a political morality play designed to terrify the public and paint me as a trophy of conquest. I was the sacrificial lamb of the entire MAGA movement, hurled upon the altar of political expediency and fed to the carnivorous Comey cabal. Yet as my friend Richard Nixon once said, “A man is not finished when he is defeated. He is finished when he quits.” I have not quit.
The man who first orchestrated this from the onset, James Brien Comey, must be fully prosecuted and held to account. He weaponized the FBI into an inquisitorial apparatus of partisan persecution. He authorized illegal domestic surveillance, signed misleading FISA applications, leaked classified material to the press, and greenlit Crossfire Hurricane, an unlawful counterintelligence campaign designed to frame Donald Trump and his associates. Under Comey’s command, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, created to constrain surveillance of foreign threats, was twisted into a political weapon against Americans.
When I was falsely arrested in January 2019, twenty nine FBI agents in tactical gear stormed my Fort Lauderdale home supported by armored vehicles and boats. I was a sixty six year old political consultant with no weapons and no history of violence, yet the government treated me as if I were Public Enemy Number One. As I said, the Department of Justice sent more armed men to arrest me than the United States military sent to kill the world’s most dangerous terrorist.
My alleged crimes were process crimes, technical inconsistencies in testimony about nothing criminal to begin with. The Mueller Report confirmed there was no Russian collusion. I was prosecuted for refusing to lie, for declining to manufacture evidence against President Trump. Comey in contrast committed real crimes: leaking classified documents, perjuring himself before Congress, conspiring with subordinates to undermine a sitting president, and attempting to reshape election integrity. He attempted a bureaucratic coup.
The Eastern District of Virginia indictment now gives prosecutors the legal authority to seize and examine Comey’s communications and records. Every communication is potentially a lead and every person he communicated with is subject as not only a witness but potentially a suspect. If handled by an independent agency like CISA rather than the DOJ or FBI, this investigation can expose the hidden network of perjury, leaks, and manipulation he directed from the shadows. Venue matters. They manipulated venue to destroy me. The proper venue for Comey’s trial is the Southern District of Florida, not Washington DC, where juries are drawn from the very swamp that protected him for years.
If pursued properly, this case can unearth his clandestine communications, establish incontrovertible evidence of perjury before Congress, and reveal the deep state network that orchestrated my crucifixion and the persecution of others under the Crossfire Hurricane Russia collusion hoax. It will show the world that no despot, however well cloaked in sanctimonious bureaucratic pomp, is beyond justice.
I survived their persecution. I was pardoned by the greatest president in modern history, Donald J. Trump. His Full Pardon Statement made clear that even the President recognized the double standard at play. The reckoning of James Comey has begun, as I wrote here. The architects of the Russia collusion hoax must now be exposed, prosecuted, and punished. The same agencies that weaponized lies to crush patriots must face the truth they so carefully buried.
They came for me first. But James Comey must fall. The verdict of history demands it. And the tribunal of justice will deliver it.
