On May 6, 2025, Broad + Liberty dropped a nuclear report from Broad + Libertyreport: an aide accused Shapiro’s Secretary, Mike Vereb, of sexual harassment. The response from the Governor’s office? Delete the accuser’s email account. That’s not spin. That’s obstruction. That’s a cover-up.
Shapiro claimed ignorance. Classic. Either he’s lying, or he’s the most clueless executive in the Commonwealth’s history. You don’t shell out $295,000 in hush money if there’s nothing to hide. That’s taxpayer money— Pennsylvanians money—used to bury the truth.
While Governor Shapiro’s caught covering up for his cronies, his favorite “Republican” Mehaffie, is busy sipping craft beers in his multi-million-dollar Delaware beach home, funded by the same taxpayers he betrays daily. This man blocked Voter ID, voted for Democrat Speaker Mark Rozzi, and has consistently been the deciding vote to push Shapiro’s radical leftist agenda through the House.

Then, when Republicans tried to get the legislature moving, Mehaffie blocked the vote. ONE vote. That’s how deep he is in Shapiro’s pocket.
Mehaffie’s own PA-106 constituents called him out, but he barricaded himself in his office, summoned the Teamsters union to harass peaceful protestors, and literally ordered them pizza like some mafia Don mocking his mark before a proverbial political hit-job.

Trump’s magnificent and long-overdue return to the White House in January 2025—an earth-shaking comeback for the ages—the so-called “Republican for Harris” Tom Mehaffie was nowhere to be found. Now, in a desperate attempt to cover up his 2023 betrayal—when he single handedly helped kill REAL voter ID—Mehaffie is pushing Shapiro’s fake version of voter ID. It’s a sham. A fraud. Meanwhile, Shapiro turned Pennsylvania into a sanctuary state. Over 170,000 illegal aliens now reside in the Commonwealth, and Dauphin County—Mehaffie’s own backyard—is a hotspot. His Democrat pal Patty Kim openly bragged about knowing where they’re living. Did Mehaffie speak up? Not a word. Not a press release. Not even a tweet. And then came the ICE bust—a full-blown illegal alien crime ring uncovered weeks ago in Dauphin County. Mehaffie? Silent. Complicit. And worse, he’s pushing HB771, which opens the door for every illegal in Pennsylvania to vote.
This man is not a Republican. He’s a liability. A Trojan horse for the radical left. And he’s selling out Pennsylvania one vote, one dollar, and one megawatt at a time. Why? Because Mehaffie serves the uniparty cartel, not the people.
Let’s pull back the curtain further. Enter Mike Musser II—Dauphin County’s unelected political boss. This guy’s turned the county into his personal piggy bank, siphoning money through backroom deals and no-bid contracts. Since 2008, Musser’s firm has pocketed nearly $1 million—$5,000 a month for 16 years—to “administer” gaming grants from Hollywood Casino. Administer? Don’t make me laugh. He’s a gatekeeper, doling out cash to loyalists and punishing anyone who dares defy him.
In 2015, they boosted Visit Hershey & Harrisburg’s budget to $800,000, doubling Musser’s commission to $72,000 a year; in 2017, they raised it to $1 million, spiking his cut to $90,000. This isn’t luck—it’s a political heist of taxpayer funds from hardworking Pennsylvanians. The smoking gun? A 2012 letter from Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, unearthed by Commissioner Justin Douglas in 2025, accused Musser of extorting municipalities—pressuring them to hire his preferred auditor, Zelenkofske Axelrod LLC, or lose grants.
Sent to Haste, Hartwick, and Pries, it was buried for over a decade until Douglas sent it to the Attorney General’s office.
The K-9 unit scandal is where Musser and Mehaffie’s corruption collides in a blaze of infamy. At the April 30th Dauphin County Commissioners Meeting, Swatara Township Commissioner Tom Connely ignited a firestorm, branding the county a “web of corruption” and exposing Mehaffie as Musser’s enforcer, pointing to evidence from that Mehaffie’s “Friends of Tom Mehaffie” campaign committee shared the same address as Musser’s business card—proof of their alliance.
Coincidence? Not in this lifetime.

At the following County Commissioners meeting on May 7th, Mehaffie didn’t even have the intestinal fortitude to show his face, sending Mike Pries—another Musser lackey—to read aloud a vague letter that answered nothing. According to Sean Guay of Harrisburg 100… Mehaffie said these claims are “an attempt to smear my campaign, and are desperate and dishonest.”
Dishonest?
The only dishonesty here is Mehaffie’s entire career.
With regard to the Musser allegations, this is all Mehaffie said: “I work with professional consultants.” This isn’t innocence—it’s a confession of complicity.
Commissioner Connelly gave a response to Harrisburg 100, following Mehaffie’s statement:
“Mehaffie did address my main point that when the award was cut to $13,000 for a major municipality in his legislative district, he said he had no ties or influence with Musser, the gaming board consultant. It was retribution for both winning the election and being president, combined with not being involved with their corruption. Mehaffie should be removed from his gaming oversight at the House for using gaming funds for political retribution,” Commissioner Connelly told Harrisburg 100.
Guay noted that Dauphin County resident Bobby Jeffries, also offered a response to Rep. Mehaffie’s written statement, saying, “Mehaffie doesn’t deny his ongoing connections to Mike Musser.” Interestingly, Transparency USA confirms Musser’s CNR as the central artery of his campaign,and an early morning fundraiser on April 23, 2025, at McGrath’s Pub in Harrisburg, organized by an individual paid by Musser’s Better Government PAC, proves he’s still tethered to the uniparty machine he claims to reject.
At the very next Commissioners meeting on May 14th, Commissioner Connelly didn’t back down—he stood firm on his claims, publicly condemned Mehaffie as a coward, and exposed what he called a clear act of political retaliation: a $10,000 contribution from Mehaffie to the Dauphin County Leadership PAC, allegedly funding a wave of vicious, targeted mailers aimed at Republican candidates aligned with Connelly in the 2025 primary.

After all, he controls endorsements, steers funding, and apparently buries scandals with the precision of a seasoned fixer.
Pennsylvanians aren’t just waking up—they’re wide awake and mad as hell. The tide is turning. And Slippery Rock’s own Mayor Jondavid Longo—a rising star in the Pennsylvania GOP and Trump 2024 warrior who shielded his pregnant wife from sniper fire in Butler—put it perfectly.
“Tom Mehaffie’s alliance with Shapiro’s radical left is a betrayal that would make Benedict Arnold blush,” Longo told this GP journalist.
He’s right. And so is President Donald J. Trump, who reminded us.
“Progress never comes from those satisfied with the failures of a broken system—it comes from those who want to fix the broken system.”Well, it’s time to fix it Pennsylvania. And fix it with a sledgehammer.
While Josh Shapiro and his coterie of consultants and cronies play kingmakers in backrooms, real Pennsylvanians are suffering. Crime is up. Schools are in shambles. Energy bills are through the roof. And the only ones getting rich? The uniparty cartel of lobbyists and corporate donors who treat taxpayer money like a bottomless buffet. Dauphin County—it’s your move. Pennsylvania its your chance to say no in 2026 to Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro’s “Favorite Republican”, who has used his one vote time and again to advance the far-left / uniparty connected agenda.
